David joined Autodesk in 2015 in the Enterprise Priority Support team, based in Sydney Australia.
He brings many years’ experience in the Oil and Gas and Steam generation Industries. He has found it invaluable to have spent the majority of his design career located on or near the fabrication and building sites, providing a strong appreciation of the full design process.
He as working extensively with AutoCAD from as early as R13 as well as MicroStation and AutoPlant, until the opportunity came to manage the design office change from AutoPlant to Plant 3D in 2012. At this point he was not only continuing to design, and lead the design team but also converted the site to a fully customised Autodesk Vault environment for more than 70k manual drawing scans.
Additionally experiences in these roles also provide David with a diverse skill set to be able to support not only Plant 3D and P&ID, but also native AutoCAD, Navisworks, Recap and Vault.
